Family of Kelley Gill Bloodworth
The Kelley Gill Bloodworth Memorial Scholarship was established by Michael Bloodworth and children Chance Bloodworth, Corbin Bloodworth, and Brynn Barger in memory of their loving wife and mother. Kelley had a contagious enthusiasm for life and always kept those around her smiling and laughing. She was a 1993 graduate of Henrietta High School and attended Texas A&M University and Midwestern State University. Kelley earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and graduated from MSU in 1997. She was the City Administrator for the City of Henrietta for many years prior to her untimely death. She was actively involved in both city government and community events. Kelley was a fierce advocate for family, her small community, and the citizens of Henrietta, Texas. As City Administrator, Kelley’s leadership was vital to realizing much-needed city infrastructure improvements that will serve the citizens of Henrietta for decades to come. The family wanted to honor her memory by establishing this award for the school and community that Kelley was so passionate about.
